Medical Supplies for Home ("MSFH," "we," "us") operates medicalsuppliesforhome.com. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account and order information. Name, email, shipping address, billing address, phone number (optional), and order history. Provided by you at checkout or account creation.
• Payment information. Processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account numbers on our servers. We retain only the last 4 digits of the card and the brand for receipts and customer service.
• Communications. Email correspondence, support-chat transcripts, and recordings or transcripts of calls to our toll-free number when you contact us for service.
• Technical and usage data. IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, items added to cart, referring URL, and session timestamps. Captured automatically when you use the site.
• Cookies and similar technologies. See "Cookies" below.
• HSA/FSA receipt requests. If you request an HSA or FSA receipt, we generate it from your order data. We do not collect or store HSA or FSA card numbers.

What we do NOT collect

• Protected health information (PHI) regulated by HIPAA. We are not a healthcare provider and we do not collect or process patient medical records.
• Social Security numbers.
• Driver's license or government ID numbers (except where required by law for a specific high-value transaction).
• Health insurance plan numbers, Medicare numbers, or Medicaid numbers.

How we use your information

• To process orders, accept payments, and ship products to you.
• To send order confirmations, shipping notifications, return-status updates, and receipts.
• To provide customer service over email, web chat, and the toll-free phone line.
• To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, chargebacks, and abuse (including IP and device fingerprinting for security).
• To comply with legal obligations (tax, regulatory inquiries, lawful subpoenas).
• To improve the site and our product catalog through aggregated usage analytics.
• To send marketing emails IF you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.

Who we share with

• Payment processors. Stripe processes payment information on our behalf, subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
• Shipping and distribution partners. We share your name, shipping address, and order contents with the medical-supply distribution partner that fulfills your order. Distribution partners receive the minimum information needed to ship the package.
• Service providers. Email delivery (Resend), customer-service AI (Anthropic and OpenAI for chat, Retell for voice), authentication (Clerk), hosting (Vercel, Neon, Cloudflare R2). Each is bound by data-processing terms restricting their use of your information to providing the service.
• Government and law enforcement. When legally required by court order, subpoena, or applicable statute.
• Business transfers. If MSFH is acquired, merged, or sold, customer data may transfer to the successor entity, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing or any other purpose.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies for: maintaining your shopping cart, remembering your Shopping Mode preference (Home or Practice), keeping you signed in to your account, and a signed visitor identifier used for fraud prevention and rate limiting. We use limited third-party analytics cookies (Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool) to understand site usage in aggregate; Umami does not use cross-site tracking and does not collect personally identifiable information.

Your choices

• Access and correction. Sign in to your account to view and edit your information, or email info@medicalsuppliesforhome.com.
• Deletion. Email us to request deletion of your account and personal information. We will delete it within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for tax, fraud, or legal reasons (typically 7 years for order records).
• Marketing opt-out. Unsubscribe from any marketing email. Transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping, returns) are sent for every order and cannot be opted out of while you have active orders.
• Cookies. Configure your browser to reject cookies; note that core site functions (cart, sign-in) require essential cookies and will not work without them.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, request access to and deletion of their information, and opt out of the sale or sharing of their information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise these rights, email info@medicalsuppliesforhome.com with "CCPA request" in the subject line. We will verify your identity before responding.

Data retention

We retain order records, including the personal information associated with them, for 7 years after the order date to comply with tax and accounting regulations. Marketing-list email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Support-chat transcripts are retained for 90 days. Account information is retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion.

Security

All web traffic is encrypted in transit using TLS. Payment information is processed by Stripe under their PCI DSS Level 1 certification — we never see full card numbers. Customer data is stored on infrastructure that complies with industry-standard security practices. No system is perfectly secure; in the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

Children

MSFH is intended for adults purchasing for themselves, their families, or their medical practices. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, email info@medicalsuppliesforhome.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to account holders. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
