High Resolution Melting (HRM) is a screening technique, which allows the user to determine if the PCR fragment contains a variant or not based upon the dissociation of double-stranded DNA in the presence of an intercalating dye as the temperature increases
IDH1 (isocitrate dehydrogenase 1) mutation is generally associated with decreased complete remission
IDH1 mutation is often paired with NPM1 mutation and normal cytogenetics
